Light-background UIs (background hardcoded near-black). Contexts requiring legible text overlays — slabs cross the full canvas.

Change the diagonal angle from -28° to -45° by setting ANG = -45*Math.PI/180, and increase slab count to 8 by adding two new entries to the SLAB array.
