When to use it

Dark-mode hero backgrounds, Japanese or nature-themed UIs, ambient screensavers, or anywhere a calming painterly landscape is needed.

When not to

Light-background layouts (background is hardcoded dark navy). Contexts requiring overlaid readable text — the mist animation competes with copy.

Working with an AI agent

Every component ships agent-ready metadata. An example instruction for this one:

Change the sun position to the left (set sunX=W*0.25), shift SKY_TOP to [80,40,60] for a rose-gold sky, and increase crane count NB to 9. Theme: dark tokens live in :root, the light variant in :root[data-theme="light"]; ?theme=light or a {type:'forever:theme'} postMessage switches at runtime.

  • Fog lozenges can overlap awkwardly at very small viewport heights
  • No pointer interactivity — purely ambient
